The Genius' Guide To Feeding Your Fundraiser With Food Suppliers

It's just as delicious as it sounds. Fundraisers are an excellent time to hire food suppliers. I would know, since I've been raising funds for not only my children, but my grandchildren. My name is Shane Miller and I have had many long and successful school fundraisers where I would break records year after year. My secret: food. Finding a way to introduce gourmet food into your school fundraiser from a food supplier can really boost the turnout. But you have to know what food to order, how to keep the food fresh and many other tricks that I will share with you on my website!

Tips For Choosing A Coffee Subscription Service

by Dolores Fletcher

Coffee subscription services are such a great way to explore different coffees and try new things. But these days, there are quite a few different coffee subscription services out there, and choosing one is not always easy. Here are some tips to help you make a smart choice.

Look at the roasts the service typically provides.

Some coffee subscription services send out coffees in a variety of roasts. Others tend to roast all of their beans more similarly. For instance, you may see that most of the coffees a service sends out are light roasts. If you know your roast preference, then you can look for a service that sends a lot of coffees in that roast. But if you're still exploring the coffee world and are unsure of what roasts you prefer, a service that offers a variety of roasts is likely a better choice. You can try different roasts and close in on your preferred taste!

Check how often the coffee comes.

People often assume a subscription service will send them a coffee every month. And this is how most coffee subscriptions work, but not all of them. There are services that will send you enough beans for a week, every week. There are others that will send you two weeks' worth of coffee at a time. And there are still others that send coffee every other month or every three months. Make sure the delivery frequency works with your plans. If you are a daily drinker, you'll probably prefer your coffee is delivered more often rather than less often.

Look where the coffee comes from.

Are the coffees being sent out coming from single-origin producers? Or are they blends of coffees from various countries and regions? While a few blends can be nice, it's often preferable to taste single-origin coffees as this gives you a better idea of what coffees from various regions taste like on their own.

Check whether the coffee is ground.

If you have your own grinder or plan on buying your own, then you really should look for a service that sends out whole bean coffee. This way, your coffee will be fresher. If you don't have a grinder, then a company that sends out pre-ground coffee is a great choice.

Choosing a coffee subscription service requires some research. Read about your options before choosing one, and you'll have more enjoyable cups of coffee to sip. Contact a company like Peak City Coffee to learn more.
